Marijke Carson PT, CWS, CLT, CLWT received her Bachelor's of Science in Physical Therapy from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1990 and is a physical therapist with 32 years experience working in a variety specialty areas. She worked collaboratively with her team of professionals to develop an outpatient wound care clinic at her hospital and successfully ran the clinic in partnership with her CWOCN partners for over 15 years. She was able to provide a wide-range of wound care services to clients with all wound types. In addition, she helped provide education to other health professionals in many settings including home care, long term care and acute care. In 2000, she achieved lymphedema certification and began providing both lymphedema and wound care in her clinic. 

Marijke also began working with ILWTI in 2015 to pursue her passion for teaching wound care and and edema management to medical professionals taking on this area of specialty. She currently practices in Marshalltown, Iowa in an outpatient clinic setting with an emphasis on lymphedema care and management.
